Transfer Active to Dormant Maintenance Screen

As the institution offers loan products to its clients, it sometimes requires its clients to deposit some amount for some savings accounts. Deposits for these savings accounts are done when loan payments are made or when the clients voluntarily deposit an amount within the period when he/she needs to pay the loan amortization. There are times, however, when these accounts become dormant. Meaning, no transactions (either deposits or withdrawals) have been made over a certain period of time of say, 6 months or 1 year. This CommonCents facility transfers savings accounts from active to dormant status. The system based its process on the set-up defined for dormant accounts in the Standards and Set-Up screen. The following is a sample of the set- up defined for dormant accounts.
